   William Philip Bryant, Sr., age 82, of Mocksville, N.C., passed away on March 11, 2022, in Salisbury, N.C.

   Phil, as he was so lovingly known as, was born on September 30, 1939, in Pickens County, G.A.  He was the son of the late Marvin Lee Bryant and Bedia Jane (Loudermilk) Bryant.  In addition to his parents, Phil was preceded in death by his brothers, Hollis and Tony Bryant, and sisters, Edna Mae and Artie Leah.

   In life, Phil attended schools in South Carolina.  He honored our country and served in the United States Air Force from 1956, until June 10, 1969.  Phil was very PROUD of his 13 years dedicated to the United States Air Force.  After his time in the military, Phil chose a career in Real Estate. In his spare time Phil enjoyed refurbishing furniture.

   Phil leaves behind to treasure his memory; his sons, William Philip Bryant, Jr. (Jaime) and Jonathan Lee Bryant (Jordan), both of Spartanburg, S.C., three daughters, Monica Bryant-Sullivan (Glenn) of Spartanburg, Audrey Rushing (Dennis) of Irmo, S.C. and Renee Glass (Gene) of Seneca, S.C., 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and his fiancé, Masuki Williamson.

   On Saturday, March 19, beginning at 2:00 pm at Cudd Memorial Baptist Church, a memorial service will be held for Phil.  Pastor Kristopher Showen will officiate the service, and a reception with the family will follow.

   In honor of Phil the family asks that donations be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America.
