Warren Douglas Maxwell

Winston Salem NC- Warren Douglas Maxwell of Charlotte NC passed into eternal life on September 9, 2024. He was born on September 25, 1961 to Raymond and Sue Maxwell. He is survived by his five children, Courtney Maxwell, Caleb Maxwell, Molly Maxwell, Sadie Maxwell,  Abby Maxwell, and two grandchildren; Kira and Jax. He is survived by his siblings Vikki Maxwell, Kay Maxwell Wagner, and Ray Maxwell. He is predeceased by his loving parents Raymond and Sue Maxwell and his beautiful daughter Megan Maxwell.

Doug grew up in Winston Salem NC and later attended UNC Charlotte. Doug loved sports and was a loyal supporter of the South Carolina Gamecocks. He was a friendly outgoing person with a very distinct familiar voice to so many radio listeners in Charlotte NC.

A family graveside service is scheduled for October 12, 2024 at 11am at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Winston Salem NC.
