Thomas "Pops" Lee Taylor

   Thomas “Pops” Lee Taylor, 57, of Lexington, NC, went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Forsyth County.

   Lee was born July 14, 1963 in Davie County, NC.  He was the son of the late Roy Odell Taylor Sr. and the late Mary Lee (Williams) Taylor.  In addition to his parents, Lee is preceded in death by his brothers Roy Odell Taylor Jr. and Michael Taylor, and his sister Cathy Taylor.

   In life Lee attended Davie County and Davidson County schools.  He worked in the construction industry as a cement truck driver and was also a manager at Cheerwine.  Lee loved to shoot pool and guns, and he also loved to fish.  Lee was of the Baptist faith and attended church at Providence Baptist Church.

   Lee leaves behind to cherish his memory a son Christopher Lee Taylor of Lexington, a daughter Tiffany Hill (husband-Jordan) of Lexington, and one granddaughter Ashlyn Taylor.

   A visitation for Lee will be held Sunday February 7, 2021 at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
