Thomas John Sheeran

   Thomas John Sheeran, age 67, of Mocksville, NC departed this world on September 3, 2022, at his home in Davie County.

   Thomas was born on January 16, 1955, in Long Island, NY.  He was the son of Mary (Clum) Sheeran and the late James Sheeran.

   In life, Thomas attended school in New York.  He later chose a career in the service industry where he worked in septic maintenance for 30 years, until he retired in 2019.  In 1975, Thomas married the love of his life, Valerie (Resse) Sheeran in Staten Island. NY.  When he wasn’t working, Thomas obsessed over his yard.  He enjoyed spending time in his garden, working in the yard, checking out cool cars, and utilizing his tools that he spent many years collecting.

   Thomas leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Mary (Clum) Sheeran, his loving wife of 47 years, Valerie Sheeran, a son, TJ Sheeran of Staten Island, NY, a daughter, Colleen Sheeran (Hector) of Staten Island, NY, brothers, James “Jimmy” Sheeran, Dennis Sheeran, and Kevin Sheeran (Annie), a sister, Margaret Ann O’Donnell (Brian), and an aunt, Anna Loper.

   On Friday, September 9, 2022, a visitation for Thomas will be held from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Davie Funeral service of Mocksville.  Following visitation at 5:00 pm, a memorial service will take place with Pastor Rodney Barker officiating.
