Terry Milton Hardin

   Terry Hardin, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2023.  He was 68 years old.

   Terry married Theresa Carter in 1973 and they remained married for 50 years. Together they had three children, Jennifer Hellard, Joshua Hardin (Renee Heaton), and Cheyenne Gordon (Wesley Melton), nine grandchildren, Courtney Daniels, Lori Daniels, Tyler Hardin, Avery Hardin, Kelsey Gordon, Cameron Gordon, Kayleigh Gordon, Victoria Melton, and Olivia Melton, and six great grandchildren.  Also surviving Terry are his sisters Patsy Thompson, Cynthia Harris, Diane Smith and Michelle Carter, and brothers Mark Hardin and Mickey Hardin.

   Terry served in the US Army Airborne Division for four years before being honorably discharged.  He then went to Davidson Community College for welding, refrigeration, and air conditioning where he graduated with honors. He worked for Skyline Mobile Homes for many years until he was put on disability.  Terry and buster Willard started and coached the Colts football team, and many little league soccer teams. Terry was preceded in death by parents Don and Virginia Hardin, and brother David Hardin.

   On Thursday, June 1, a visitation for Terry will be held at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.  On Friday, June 2, Pastor Donald Beaver will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 am, also at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville.  Terry will be laid to rest in Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
