Terry Douglas Barneycastle

   Terry Douglas Barneycastle, age 57 of Mocksville, North Carolina departed this world on Monday, August 21, 2023, from his home in Davie County.

   Doug was born on September 9, 1965, in Forsyth County.  He was the son of Cheyrel (Grubbs) Barneycastle and the late Printis Husten Barneycastle.  

   In life, Doug graduated from Davie High School, he chose a career in the telephone and cable business where he worked as a technician.  He worked for Yadkin Valley Telephone for over 21 years, until he retired.  After retirement Doug enjoyed going fishing with his son, tinkering in the shop, building things, fast cars, and his dog jake.

   Doug leaves behind to treasure his memory, a son Tanner Ryan of Mocksville, his mother Cheyrel Barneycastle, one sister Angela Woodring of Mocksville, a niece Niki Myers, a loving companion Vanessa Smith and daughter (Amber Barnhardt)

   On Saturday, August 26, 2023, a visitation and memorial service will be held at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm and the memorial service at 3:00 pm.
