Teddy Ray Doby

   Teddy “Ted” Ray Doby, 47, of Cooleemee, NC, entered his heavenly home on January 24, 2021 in Davie County.

   Ted was born June 30, 1972 in Davie County, NC.  He was the son of Don Gray Doby and Rebecca (Spaugh) Doby, both survive him.

   In life Ted attended schools in Davie County.  He was a carpenter and worked in the wood industry.  Ted was of the Baptist faith and attended church at Fellowship Baptist Church.

   To cherish his memory Ted leaves behind his sons; Zachary Doby of Cooleemee, Austian Doby of Statesville, Aaron Doby (wife-Kelly) of Mocksville, and Hunter Doby of Mocksville, brothers Grover Doby (wife-Audrey) of Mocksville and Louie Doby (wife-Karen) of Advance, sisters Nellie Frank of Texas and Theresa Saple-Anderson of Iowa, and a grandchild Acer Doby.

   A graveside service for Ted will be held Saturday January 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm located at Fellowship Baptist Church.  Pastor John Wayne Swisher will officiate the service.
