Sylvia (Winchester) Hollifield

   Sylvia (Winchester) Hollifield, age 49 of Asheboro, North Carolina departed this world on June 14, 2023.

   Sylvia was born on January 3, 1974, in Whiteville, North Carolina.  She was the daughter of Connie Jane Gordon.

   In life, Sylvia chose a career in the health care field.  She was a nurse and worked at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro.  In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.

   Sylvia leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother Connie Gordon, her loving husband Jason Hollifield, two sons James Bostic and Dempsey Bostic, a brother John Long, three sisters Abby Lewis (Steve), Rebecca Hall (Vince), and Kelly Hill (John), and two grandchildren Pandora Bostic and Reed Bostic.

   On Monday, June 19, a visitation for Sylvia will be held from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville.  Following visitation at 3:00 pm Pastor Claudi Harrison will officiate a funeral service at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
