Suzanne Jean (Henry) Valyer

Suzanne “Sue” Henry Valyer, 70, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024 at her residence. A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Davie Funeral Service.

She was born January 21, 1954 in Greenville, PA.

In addition to her son, Jerad Davis, she was preceded in death by her father, Ray R. Henry; her mother, Sally Scolton (Harry) and a brother, Bill Henry.

Sue loved her job at Tractor Supply and was of the Methodist faith. She loved and rescued all types of animals, especially horses and was known as the “Horse Whisperer”.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Lester F. Valyer; 2 daughters, Andrea Davis and Pamela Davis (Adrian); 2 step children; Brandy Valyer (Rich) and Greg Valyer (Amanda); 5 sisters, Peggy Zionts (Keith), Krista Wilson (Scot), Mary Johnson (Ivan), Elaine Wescoat and Lori Ecklund (Doug); half-brother; Philip Henry (Brenda); step mother, Barbara Henry; aunt, Gail Henry Werner; 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, whom she love and adored.
