Stella Louise Ramsey Smith, 83, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
She was born September 6, 1941 in Forsyth County.
She was a graduate from Gray High School and was employed with Tarheel Banana Company for thirty plus years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lily Ramsey; a son, Donald G. Smith Jr; and two sisters, Doris and Sug.
Survivors include her son, Marty Smith; two daughters, Sherry Shermer and Shelia Hollingsworth (Sidney); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will have a private service at a later.
