Sally Ann Williams

Sally Ann Williams, 73, of Advance, passed away on October 19, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born September 16, 1946 in Columbiana County, Ohio, a daughter to the late Thomas A. Shaffer and Flora M. Ross Shaffer. She attended and graduated from Wellsville High School with the class of 1964. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her son Duane Williams and her sister Pattie Jo Shaw McCoy.

Sally is survived by her loving family, including her daughter Teresa Grose (James) of Yadkinville and her brother Thomas L. Shaffer of Wellsville, Ohio. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 23 at 1 – 3 PM at the Davie Funeral Service Chapel in Mocksville. A funeral service will follow immediately at 3 PM, also at the Davie Chapel, with Marvin Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Mocksville.
