Roger Boner Scott

Roger Boner Scott, 82, of East Bend, NC, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at his home with his family by his side.

He was born June 30, 1942, in Forsyth County, North Carolina to the late Herman Scott and Minnie Leamon Scott.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his nephew, Jason Scott (Beth); great nieces, Kristy Witten (Sam), Abigail Scott, Nicole Scott, Natalie Scott; great nephews, Dalton Scott (Casey), Michael Scott (Jennifer); great-great niece, Makayla Thompson (JT); and great-great nephew, Bryson Witten.

Roger worked as a mechanic as well as working for Unifi.

The family wanted to say a special thank you to Medi Home Health and Hospice, especially Raechel for care and compassion shown to Roger.  You made his dying wish come true.

The family will have a time of visitation with family and friends, on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm at Mt Carmel Friends Church in East Bend, NC, with a Celebration of Life service immediately following the visitation. Burial will take place in the church cemetery following the service.
