Robert "Bob" L. Sinclair

   Robert L. “Bob” Sinclair, 73 of Mocksville, North Carolina, died on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.  Born in Barbour County, WV on September 25, 1949, to the late Robert S. Sinclair and Virginia (Shaw) Sinclair.

   Bob was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.  He was a past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus St. Francis of Assisi Council #12610 and a Fourth Degree Knight of the Triad Assembly #2282.

   He was a graduate of Fishburn Military School, Allegheny Community College, and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.  Bob enjoyed flying his airplane and was a model railroad enthusiast.

   In 1997, Bob established Davie Funeral Service in Mocksville, later adding Davie Burial & Cremation Service of Lexington, Davie Chapel of Yadkinville, and Reavis Funeral Home of Statesville.

   Bob is survived by his wife of 34 years Sue Hall Sinclair, children Emily Hall, David Hall, Eric Diaz and Claudia Turcios, grandchildren Bailey and Branden Hall and their mother Angie Hall, Josslyn and Allyson Ruiz-Turcios and Andrew Guardado, sister Rebecca A. Sinclair, favorite sister-in-law Nema J. Richter, special aunt, Patty Hinkle and special friend and caregiver, Shawn West.

   A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 17th at the Davie Funeral Chapel in Mocksville with Pastor Jimmy Lancaster and Pastor Rodney Barker officiating.  Music will be provided by John and Lynn Powell.

   Drop-in visitation will be on Sunday, September 17th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm prior to the service.

   A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, September 18th at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Mocksville, with Rev. Father Eric L. Kowalski officiating.  Burial in Rose Cemetery will follow.
