Robert Pearson Thompson

Robert Pearson Thompson, 68, of Mocksville, NC, passed away December 22 2024 at his home with his family by his side.

Robert was born on May 6, 1956, in Davidson County, NC, to the late William “Bill” Thompson and Betty Cope Fine.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Neil Speer, and brother-in-law, Otis King.

Survivors include his significant other, Carol Poplin; step daughter, Jody Speer; brother, Rondall Thompson (Micki Weaver); sisters, Alma King, Shirley Thompson; and a grandchild, Caleb Speer

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Davie Baptist Church at 3:00pm with Pastor Michael Hardin, officiating.  There will be a visitation at the church one hour prior to the funeral from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.  Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
