Robert Wesley Beck

   Robert “Bob” Wesley Beck, age 77, of Mocksville, N.C., entered his heavenly home on May 7, 2022, at Compass HC Rehab.

   Bob, as he was affectionately known as, was born on August 11, 1944.  He was the son of the late Joe Fletcher Beck and Lula Mae (Crotts) Beck.  In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Poplin.

   In life, Bob graduated from Davie County High School.  He married the love of his life, Louise (Utt) Beck.  Later he chose a career as a forklift operator where he worked for Reynolds, Lee, and Ingersol Rand.  Bob was a Christian man and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church of Mocksville.  Bob loved being outdoors, and he loved cutting up with Louise.  He also liked NASCAR, and wood working when he was able.

   Bob leaves behind to treasure his memory, his loving wife, Louise (Utt) Beck, a son, Tim Beck (Kristy) of Kernersville, a daughter, Tracy Michelle Beck of Lexington, two sisters, Norma Jean Trivitte and Margaret Myers (Garland), both of Mocksville, two grandchildren, Zach Shaver (Breanna) and Connor Beck, and a host of many nephews and nieces.

   A visitation for Bob will be held on Thursday, May 12, from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Liberty Baptist Church of Mocksville.  Following visitation at 5:00 pm, Pastor Noel Hawks will officiate a funeral service for Bob and his friends and family, also located at Liberty Baptist Church of Mocksville.  Bob will be laid to rest in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
