Richard Edward Grant

Richard Edward Grant, 69, of Salisbury, NC, passed away on September 1, 2021 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC.

   Richard was born on May 22, 1952 in Rowan County, NC.  He was the son of the late Roby Louis Grant and Faye Edna (Waters) Grant.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Grant.

   In life, Richard attended Rowan County schools then later became a commercial and residential welder.  Richard is survived by his sons, Jamie Grant (Ashley) of Mocksville, Kevin Grant (Tony) of Kannapolis, daughter, Carrie Morrison of Salisbury, grandchildren, Easton Grant, Kristina Stiles, Chase Morrison, Brianna Morrison, and Ethan Morrison, also surviving Richard is the mother of his children, Vickie Grant.

   A visitation for Richard will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville.  A memorial service for Richard will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville at 8:00 pm.  Officiating the service will be Pastor John Powell.
