Ricardo Enrique Gonzalez-Platero

   Ricardo Enrique Gonzalez-Platero, 34, of Mocksville, NC departed this world on September 28, 2021 from his home in Davie County. 

   Ricardo was born on February 11, 1987 in El Salvador.  He was the son of Elia Emperatriz Platero and the late Jose Ricardo Gonzalez-Hernandez. In addition to his father, Ricardo was preceded in death by his sister, Juana Francisca Gonzalez-Platero.

   In life, Ricardo attended schools in El Salvadore, he later worked as a construction worker for over 15 years.  Ricardo married the love of his life, Rosa Miriam (Luna) Alvarenga this year, 2021, in Davie County.  Ricardo loved simple things in life like car rides around town every afternoon and cooking with his wife Rosa, they would prepare meals together and sell them.

   Ricardo is survived by his loving mother, Elia Emperatriz Platero, his loyal wife, Rosa Alvarenga, a step-son, Louis Lopez of Maryland, step-daughters, Amy Lopez of Mocksville, Jackelyne Lopez of Mocksville, and Karyna Reynolds (Benjamin) of Salisbury, a brother, Jose Gallio Gonzalez (Rosa Cristella) of Mocksville, sisters, Paula Emperatriz Gonzalez-Platero, Sandra Maribel Gonzalez-Platero, and Estela Marisol Gonzalez-Platero (Jose Wilber Guevara-Amaya), who will all miss him greatly.

   A visitation for Ricardo will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm.  A funeral service for Ricardo will be held Monday, October 11, 2021 at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville at 10:00 am.  Ricardo will be laid to rest at Rose Cemetery.
