Rex Sterling Davis

Rex Sterling Davis, 50, of Harmony, NC, entered his heavenly home on May 2, 2021 at Iredell Medical Center in Statesville, NC.

Sterling was born October 12, 1970 in Davie County, NC.  He was the son of the late Rex Leland Davis and Madalyn Clara (Swisher) Davis. In addition to his parents, Sterling is preceded in death by his brothers Rodney and Sonny Davis.

In life, Sterling attended North Iredell High School.  He enjoyed fixing old cars and lawn mowers to sell.  Sterling was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Advance, NC.

Sterling is survived by his brothers Dwight Davis (Brenda), Terry Davis, and Rocky Davis, his sister-in-law Debbie Davis, his nephews Ryan Davis (Tiffany), Cody Davis, and nieces Christy Mashore (Michael), Samantha Davis, Syndee Davis, and Sonnie Lynn Collins (Jeff).

A visitation for Sterling will be held on Thursday May 6, 2021 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church.  Following visitation at 1:00 pm there will be a funeral service, also located at Fellowship Baptist Church.  Pastor Wayne Swisher will officiate the service. Sterling will be laid to rest at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.
