Randy Darnell Gobble

Randy Darnell Gobble, 58, of Mocksville, NC, passed peacefully at his home on May 22, 2020.

Randy was born June 23, 1961 in Davie County, NC, son of Lorean Hunt Gobble and the late Warren Darnell Gobble. Randy is also preceded in death by his grandparents Felix and Cloyce Gobble, and Tom and Sally Hunt, also his step son Jason Hobbs.

In life Randy attended Davie County schools and was part of the Davie High School class of 1979. Randy worked in the Grading and Trucking Industry for 20 plus years. Randy was of the Baptist faith and attended Ijames Baptist Church.

The survivors include his lifetime companion Debbie Hobbs, his caring mother Lorean Hunt Gobble of Mocksville, NC, a brother Greg Gobble (Cindy) of Mocksville, NC, a sister Charlene Ritchie (Michael) of Mocksville, NC, nephews Kendall Gobble (Jessica), Dakota Ritchie, Kolton Ritchie, Josh Beaver and special friends Mark Beaver, and Tommy Dyson.

A walk through visitation will be held from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the Ijames Baptist Church on Tuesday May 26, 2020. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM and will be officiated by Pastor James Ward, Pastor James D. Messer Jr., and Pastor Franklin Myers. Pallbearers for Randy will be Billy Swann, Kolton Ritchie, Michael Ritchie, Kendall Gobble, Mark Beaver, Tommy Dyson, Greg Gobble, Austin Gobble, Zach Rogers, Dustin Holt, and Jamie White.
