Phyllis “Dianne” (Cook) Chandler, 70, of Mocksville, entered her heavenly home on November 1, 2020 at her home in Davie County.
Dianne was born June 6, 1950 in Rowan County. She was the daughter of Myrtle (Seaman) Cook and the late Oscar Brady Hardin Cook. In addition to her father, Dianne is preceded in death by her sister Joyce Cook.
Dianne graduated from Davie County High School. She was a seamstress for Southeastern Sewing where she later retired. Dianne also attended Trinity Baptist Church in Mocksville. She loved spending time with her family especially sitting around the table after a good meal playing phase 10. Dianne was a kind and loving woman with a huge heart and treated everyone the same no matter who you were.
Dianne is survived by her loving husband Luther Chandler of Mocksville, her mother Myrtle (Seaman) Cook, a son Tommy Chandler (Fiancée Anne Marie Taberdo) of Mocksville, a daughter Crystal Meadows (Fiancé David McDaniel) of Mocksville, and two Stepdaughters Ann Hutchins (Roger) of Yadkinville, and Linda Hutchens of Booneville, and a grandson Brady Cook of Mocksville.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville to help with expenses.
A visitation for Dianne will be held at 1:00 pm Friday November 6, 2020 at Trinity Baptist Church, Dianne's celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday November 6, 2020 at Trinity Baptist Church. Pastor Darrell Cox will be officiating the service.
