Michael Shawn Barringer 38, of Mocksville passed away on Tuesday, April 9 2019.

Michael was born on November 6, 1980 in Rowan County to Terry Barringer Jr. and Patty Presnell Barringer. He graduated from Salisbiury High School in 1998 and was a Conductor with Norfolk Southern Rail.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his wife Evelyn Barringerof the home. Daughters Brittany A. Barringer and Serenity I. Barringer also of the home. Brother Timothy Ryan Barringer of Salisbury and sister Casandra Dawn Barringer of Burlington. Aunts Judy Green, Marla Rauch and Tina Gaives. sister-in-law Jacklyn Barringer

He was preceded in death by brother Eric Todd Braswell.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 13, 2019 from 12:30 till 1:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church in Spruce Pine, NC with a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 Pm. conducted by Dr. Darrin Waldroup.
