Marjorie Ruth (Atwood) Toma

Marjorie Ruth (Atwood) Toma, 75, of Advance, NC, died Friday January 10, 2020 at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.

Marjorie was born September 29, 1944 in Forsyth County, NC, the daughter of the late Sidney Eugene and Marjorie Rachel (Paschal) Atwood. She was also preceded in death by her son Dennis Lee McQueen.

Marjorie was a 1962 graduate of Coral Gable High School. She enjoyed working as a waitress in the community for most of her life.

Survivors include her loving husband Khalid “Tom” Toma, sons Johnathan M. Toma (Sashi) of Mocksville, William D McQueen (Stacy) of Booneville, daughters Tabetha “Tabby” Dobbins (Trent) of Hickory, Natalee Lopez (Hernan) of Advance, brother Dennis R. Atwood (Barbara) of Winston Salem, sister Darlene Atwood of Winston Salem, grandchildren Chase Dobbins, Jordan “River” Dobbins, Zachary Smith, Elena Lopez, Meredith Lopez, Victoria Partida, Carla Partida, John Muller, Kadin Toma, Natalie Toma, great grandson Trenten Douglas Wood.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM- 3:00PM Wednesday January 15, 2020 at Davie Funeral Service, Funeral Service will follow at 3:00PM in the Davie Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Tim Sink officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Believers Sonship Tabernacle Church Cemetery in Mocksville.
