Obituary
Maria Catalina Benitez Jimenez, age 68 of Boonville, North Carolina departed this world on Monday, July 31, 2023.
Maria was born on November 27, 1954, in Mexico. She was the daughter of the late Clementino Benitez and Crispina Jimenez.
In life, Maria was a homemaker who raised her two children, Leonel Carrasco and Areli Benitez, both, survive her. In addition to her children, Maria is survived by a brother Evaristo Benitez, a sister Yicsel Hernandez, four grandchildren Lizbeydi, Meyli, Isaac, and Aaron, along with several nieces and nephews.
On Thursday, August 3, 2023, a viewing and visitation will begin at 5:00 pm and end at 8:00 am on Friday, August 4, 2023. Following the visitation at 10:00 am, Father John will officiate the funeral service at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church in Boonville. Maria will be laid to rest in Yadkin City Cemetery.
