Lori Jane (Young) Bailey

Lori Jane (Young) Bailey, 55, of Advance, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Davidson County on April 8, 1963, and was the only daughter of Rebecca Jane Snider Young, who survives, and the late Jerry Nelson Young.

Lori graduated from Davie County High School with the Class of 1981 and had been employed at Baptist Hospital for 33 years where she worked as a centralized scheduler. She was a member of Fulton United Methodist Church.

In addition to her mother, Rebecca, she leaves behind one brother, Tim Young of Advance; her special companion, Rick Jones and “special babies”, Oliver and Gizmo; two nephews, Travis Young (Sarah) and Trent Young; and a great niece, Sloane.

A graveside committal service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 16, at Fulton UMC Cemetery with Rev. Dustin James officiating. A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the church at 1:00 PM Saturday.
