Johnny Robert Riddle

Johnny Robert Riddle, 74, of Advance passed away on June 13, 2019 at his home.

Johnny was born April 19, 1945 in Cumberland County, NC, a son to the late Reverend John Riddle and Marie Owens Riddle. In life, Johnny was self-employed as a residential and commercial painter. He was also a member of the Yadkin Valley Baptist Church. Johnny was preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as one uncle, James Owens.

Johnny is survived by his uncle David Owens (Sheila) of Mocksville, aunt Jane O. Smith (Vensal) of Mocksville and aunt Alvia Owens of Advance.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Davie Funeral Service Chapel in Mocksville, with visitation thirty minutes prior. Burial will follow at the Yadkin Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Advance. Pastor Tim Dunn and Pastor David Owens will officiate.
