Jerry Lee Beeding, Sr.

     Jerry Lee Beeding, Sr., age 78 of Yadkinville, NC departed this world on January 18, 2023, from Mt. Valley Hospice in Yadkin County.

   Jerry was born on March 22, 1944, in Forsyth County.  He was the son of the late Beulah Beeding.  In addition to his mother, Jerry was preceded in death by his son Jerry Lee Beeding, Jr.

   In life, Jerry honored our country and served in the United States Air Force.  After his time in the military, Jerry chose a career in the transportation industry.  He was a truck driver for 45 years.  In 1981 Jerry married his wife Jean (Scott) Beeding in York County, SC.  Jerry was an outgoing guy that enjoyed life.  He loved the outdoors and the company of others.  When he wasn’t working, Jerry took pleasure in camping, having cook outs, fishing, and trucks. 

   Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Jean Beeding, two sons Darron Gray Beeding and Timothy Wayne Beeding, a daughter Rebecca Ann Ivey, two stepsons Roy Scott and Tim Scott, three grandchildren Maria Stillman, Ashley Beeding and Jenna Beeding, and five great grandchildren Donavan, Kylie, Aysla, Max and Marley.

   On Thursday, January 26, 2023, Jerry was laid to rest in Salisbury National Cemetery.
