Jeffrey Scott Whitley

Jeffrey Scott Whitley, 59, of Cooleemee, NC, passed away November 9, 2024. 

Jeff was born on November 2, 1965 in Davie County, NC, son of Clyde Whitley Jr and Joann West. He attended Davie County Schools and worked on homes for people in the community.

Jeff was an avid NASCAR and sports fan, with the Carolina Tar Heels being amongst his favorite. He was a proud Dad to his son, Jason Whitley, and a wonderful Pawpaw to Rhys. Jeff will be remembered as hard-working, loving, and the person who could make his grandson belly laugh like none other.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Cynthia Whitley Gaither and Lisa Whitley.

Additional survivors include his brother, Timothy Whitley (Wendy) and close friends Kenny Link, Andy Jackson (Linda), Deano Wyrick and Lenny McAfee.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 5:00PM- 7:00PM in the Davie Funeral Service chapel.
