James Robert Campbell

   James Robert Campbell, age 80, of Mocksville, NC passed away on July 28, 2022, at Bermuda Commons in Davie County.

   Jim, as he was so lovingly known as, was born on June 5, 1942, in Nemacolm, PA.  He was the son of the late Robert Kalinowski and Dorothy Ruth (Campbell) McClarren.  In addition to his mother and father, Jim was preceded in death by his son Dennis Michael Campbell and one brother, Brent McClarren.

   In life, Jim honored our country and served in the United States Air Force.  Later, he chose to retire and then chose a career in sales.  In 2001, Jim married the love of his life, Linda Sue Thompson, they spent 21 loving years together.

  Jim is survived by his loving wife, Linda Thompson of Mocksville, a son, James Campbell Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, a stepson, Lloyd Anderson of Mocksville, a daughter, Tina Licausi (Michael) of Mechanicsville, MD, a sister, Dottie Pratt of Sweetwater, TX, and two grandchildren, Jacob and Nathan Licausi.
