I vaguely remember my family visiting you and Uncle Joe in Cuba. I was about 4 and Cindy wasn't walking yet. I have some pictures somewhere. I also remember Cindy and l visiting you and Grandma in Detroit. The 4 of us did some traveling. Saw Niagara Falls for the first time. A great experience. We also stayed with relatives Bill and Grace Newman in either Virginia or one of the Carolinas. I was 13. Hard to remember. Had lots of fun. After that vacation seems we lost touch. Just yearly birthday cards. I was born on your birthday. After mom, your sister, died, dad and us girls went to find you to tell of her passing. That's when you were in Ocala. After that we didn't hear from you. But Cindy found you in 2015. Wish l was there with her when she did. I would love to have given you a big hug. Would have liked to hear of your travels and gotten more family history. Greatly missing you, Uncle Joe, Grandma & Grandpa E. I wished that you and my mom, your sister Zackie, had reconciled your differences. Maybe you did in Heaven. Miss you all greatly. Still love you very much. Your niece (with the same birthday), Debbie Fyfe Geary đź’–

I'm Manuel Pérez Colmenero, Jackie's husband's nephew. I visited my uncle José, Jackie and my aunt Teresa when they lived here in Florida in Ocala. My mom (R.I.P) was Jose's sister and she came along that day, too. We had a very nice visit with them. After my uncle and my aunt Teresa passed away, I always wondered how Jackie was doing but had no way to contact her. l'm sorry to learn that she passed away, also. May she rest in peace.
