Hermilo Cortez Zamora Jr.

   Hermilo Cortez Zamora, Jr., age 43 of Advance, North Carolina departed this world on August 10, 2023, from Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in High Point, NC.

   Bubba, as he was so lovingly known as, was born on February 2, 1980, in Hanes City, Florida.  He was the son of the late Hermilo Cortez Zamora, Sr., and Doris Ann (Van Horne) Smyre.  In addition to his mother and father, Bubba was preceded in death by his brother Fernando Zamora.

   In life, Bubba graduated from Davie High school.  He lived a very fulfilling life.  He never met a stranger.

   Bubba leaves behind to cherish his memory, two loving sisters Melissa Zamora Torreblanca (Cesar) and Angelina Pack (Brad), a half-brother Juvencio, and three half-sisters Concha, Lenny, and Olga.  Also, surviving Bubba are his many nieces and nephews Jordan, Kyle, Brandon, Autumn, Sebastian, Zoey, Miley, Stryson, and Samora.

   On Monday, August 14, a visitation and memorial service will be held at Davie funeral Service of Mocksville, with visitation beginning at 6:00 pm and memorial service at 7:00 pm.  Pastor Ryan Showalter will officiate the service.
