Frances Louise (Mock) Straley

Frances Louise (Mock) Straley, 58, of Mocksville, NC entered her heavenly home on November 13, 2021 from her home in Davie County, NC.

   Frances was born on October 19, 1963 in Davie County, NC.  She was the daughter of Gloria Jean Holder and the late George Frank Mock, Jr.

   In life, Frances graduated from Davie County High School.  She later began a career in the manufacturing industry where she worked with Crown Wood as an assembly worker.  Frances married Nelson Howard Straley, Jr. and had two children.

   Frances leaves behind to cherish her memory; a son, Nelson Howard Holder of San Antonio, TX, a daughter, Crystal Elizabeth Moore (Matt) of Chesterfield, VA, two brothers, George Frank Mock, III., (Dee) of Mocksville and George Wesley Mock of Mocksville, a sister, Hannah Elizabeth Mock of Advance, and two grandchildren, Skyler Elizabeth Moore and Ryan Matthew Moore, who will all miss her greatly.

   A private service will be held for Frances on Friday November 19, 2021. She will be laid to rest at Forrest Hills Memorial Park.
