Eva Nicholson

Eva Peacock Nicholson, 92, of Mocksville, NC passed peacefully on May 16, 2020 at Brookdale Nursing Care in Statesville, NC.

Eva was born May 6, 1928 in Iredell, NC to the late James Calvin Peacock and Lucriettra Harris Peacock. Eva is preceded in death by her loving husband Dewey Nicholson, sisters Maude Baume, Ruth Hellard, brothers Ivey Lee Peacock, Roy Peacock, Virgil Peacock, Vance Peacock, Clyde Peacock, Clay Peacock, and a great niece Chrystal Thomas.

In life Eva worked in the manufacturing industry as a seamstress. She was of the Baptist faith and attended the First Baptist Church of Cooleemee.

Eva is survived by her loving niece Kathy Rogers.

A visitation for Eva has been scheduled for May 18, 2020, Monday 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at The Davie Funeral Home Chapel. The graveside service for Eva will be on Tuesday May 19, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Legion Memorial Park Cemetery in Cooleemee, NC. The service will be officiated by Rev. Alan Mullins.
