Donna Lynn (Rhoades) Williams

   Donna Lynn (Rhoades) Williams, 66, of Mocksville, NC, departed this world on May 4, 2021 from Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House in Winston-Salem, NC.

   Donna was born July 6, 1954 in Wilkesboro, NC.  She graduated from Wilkes County schools and was a waitress at Kent’s restaurant for 11 years.  Donna was married to Clarence Russell Williams who precedes her in death.  In addition to her husband, Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Bernice Rhoades. Donna was an incredibly caring person, she loved her animals and rescuing feral cats.

   Donna is survived by her son, Les Harrold of Mocksville, brothers Frankie Rhoades and Ronnie Rhoades, both of Wilkes County, a sister Marie Handy of Miller’s Creek, NC, a niece Dawn Brown of Purlear, NC, and granddaughter, Abby Harrold of Mocksville. 

   A visitation for Donna will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville.  A memorial service will follow visitation at 6:00 pm at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville.  Pastor David Singletary will officiate the service.
