Donna Jean (Jones) Dixon

   Donna Jean (Jones) Dixon, age 46, of Mocksville, NC, departed this world on August 2, 2022.

   Donna was born on August 14, 1975, in Davie County, NC.  She was the daughter of Shelby (Dyles) Turner and the late Johnny Lee Jones.

   In life Donna graduated Davie County High School and had attended college at Davidson-Davie Community College.  In 2000, Donna married the love of her life, Mark Anthony Dixon, Sr.  Together, they spent 22 loving years by each other’s side.  Donna was very passionate about caring for others and she enjoyed her career as a CNA.  Donna enjoyed family time, especially time she shared with her cousin, Aiddan Potts.   Donna was a lifelong member of The Episcopal Church of the Ascension at Fork. 

   Donna leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Shelby Turner and stepfather, Billy Turner, stepmother, Grace Jones, her devoted husband, Mark Anthony Dixon, Sr., three sons, Joey Lusk, Shawn Daniels, and Mark Anthony Dixon, Jr., a daughter Nicole Lusk, her caring sister Mitzi (Jones) Morgan, and her cousin Aiddan Potts.

   On Sunday, August 7, a visitation with friends and family will be held at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.  On Monday, August 8, a funeral service for Donna will be held at The Episcopal Church of the Ascension at Fork beginning at 4:00 pm.  Father Dan will officiate the service.  Donna will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
