Donald Marvin Twitty, age 61 of Mocksville, NC departed this world on March 23, 2023, from his home in Davie County.

Donald was born on March 5, 1962, in Portsmouth, VA. He was the son of the late Gilbert Weldon Twitty and Carsie Elizabeth (Dale) Bakken.

In life, Donald graduated from Portsmith, Virginia schools. Later, he chose a career in the construction industry where he worked as a carpenter for many years. Donald truly loved working with his hands and because of that his favorite things were carpentry, fishing, and traveling.

Donald leaves behind to treasure his memory, two brothers Dwayne Twitty and Darrell Twitty, two sisters Carisa Riles and Christine Twitty, a nephew Haden Riles, his life partner Janet Lynne Carter, and a host of cousins.
