Debra Ann Anthony “Debbie” Hayes , 64, of Mocksville, died on December 30, 2019 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born November 8, 1955 in Cleveland County, a daughter to the late Forrest Soloman “Sparky” Anthony and June Maxine Loftis Hendrix, who survives. She was of the Baptist faith and worked for Jockey International for 18 years. She loved to travel and go on cruises.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Danny Wilson Hayes, of the home, two sons, Phillip “Monk” Denton (Cindy), of Blacksburg, SC, Danny “D.J.” Hayes, Jr. (Jennifer Walser) of Mocksville; two daughters, Angela “Angie” Jenkins (T.J) of China Grove; Dannica Montgomery (Bobby) of Advance; four brothers, Todd Anthony (Susan), Scott Hendrix (Marie), Jamy Hendrix (Andrea) & Roger Hendrix, all of Cleveland, NC; 11 Grandchildren, Dillon, Eli, Lane, and Landon Jenkins, Shaylee & Baby Montgomery, Madison Hayes; Kenneth, Phillip III, Dakota “Cota” and Aiden Denton, and two great grandchildren, Holden and Colton Denton.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Davie Funeral Service. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3 at 11:00 AM in the Davie Funeral Chapel with Pastor Chris Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Rowan Memorial Park in Salisbury.
