Christie Dawn (Barney) Myers

Christie Dawn Barney Myers, 48, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at her home. 

Mrs. Myers was born in Davie County, North Carolina on May 28, 1975, to Grady Edwin Barney and Christal Marie Caudle Barney.

She was proceeded in death by her grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her parents; one sister, Amy Jarvis (Terry); three nephews; and three nieces.

Mrs. Myers graduated from Davie High School, class of 1993 and worked in retail at Lowe’s Hardware.  She enjoyed playing softball and doing crafts.

There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Fork Baptist Church, at 12:00pm, with Pastor Adam Ridenhour, officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Fork Volunteer Fire Dept or Fork Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
