Cecilio Florido

Cecilio Florido, 50, passed away at KB Reynolds Hospice House in Winston Salem, on Friday, March 8, 2024.

Cecilio was born on November 22, 1973, to Ezequiel Florido and Zenaida Armenta.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ezequiel Florido.

He is survived by his mother, Zenaida Armenta; his wife, Maria Nila Florido; three sons, Gustavo Florido, Miguel Florido, Christopher Florido; two daughters, Atalia Florido, Sarai Florido; two brothers, Felix Florido, Asencion Florido; and close friends, Juan Moreno, Kent Parker, Jim Morgan, and the Torres Family.

Mr. Florido was a member of St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus.  He loved working with his hands and loved helping people.

The family will receive friends on March 14, 2024, from 12:00pm on Thursday, to 12:00pm on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the family’s residence, 117 Sunset Drive, Mocksville, NC 27028.  A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 1:00pm at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, with Father Eric, officiating.  Burial will follow the service in Rose Cemetery.
