Carol Marie (Robertson) Carter

   Carol Marie (Robertson) Carter, 78, of Mocksville, NC, departed this world from her home on February 15, 2022. 

   Carol was born on August 8, 1943, in Forsyth Co. She was the daughter of the late William Henry Robertson and Ethel Lenora (Waller) Robertson. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. 

   In life, Carol attended Davie Co. Schools. She was a hard worker, where she spent many years as an entrepreneur, and at home taking care of her family. Carol was one of the most loving and giving of people, and a great source of hope and encouragement in the lives of many. She was a Christian woman and had attended church at Agape Faith Church of Clemmons. 

   Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory; a son, Todd Carter of Mocksville, a daughter, Sandy Sloan of Mocksville, one brother, Jerry Robertson of Advance, one sister, Edera Childress of Winston-Salem, and two grandchildren, Chase Gaddy and Annamarie Sloan, who will all miss her tremendously. 

   A visitation for Carol will be held on Wednesday, February 23, from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville.  Following visitation, a funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm, also at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville.
