Carl Gibson Safley

I can barely write for the tears filling my eyes. Mr. Safley was the kindest, Godliest man I knew. What an inspiration he was to me! Whether it was riding on the Honda Trail90 with him in the mountains or going somewhere in Clementine with the Safley family, I was filled with joy. I remember the long stride of his walk, his smile, his laughter, and his love for family and friends. He was the only one that called me Elizabeth, and I felt special because he did that, Earth has lost a great man, but Heaven is rejoicing at gaining another angel! 

My prayers are with the entire Safley family! 🙏May God give you peace and comfort beyond understanding. Love y’all to the moon and back!

I am so very sorry to read of Mr. Carl's death.  I remember first meeting Mr. Carl at Calvary Baptist and always enjoyed talking about family history.

I am honored to have met this dear man. He was welcoming, kind, selfless, and accommodating, when I visited him and his wife with his granddaughter. The reason I know without a doubt, that he was dear, is because of the love and esteem this granddaughter has for him. I thank our Heavenly Father for giving her such a man to model manhood and God's love for her.
