Betty Sue (Wiles) Hobson

   Betty Sue (Wiles) Hobson, age 74 of Mocksville, NC departed this world on November 7, 2022.

   Betty was born on February 25, 1948, in Grayson County, VA.  She was the daughter of the late Robert O'dell Wiles and Kathleen (Vaughn) Wiles.  In addition to her mother and father, Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband George Clay Hobson, and her brothers Marley “Bill” Wiles and Robert Wiles, Jr.

   In life, Betty attended school in Galax, Virginia.  She chose a career in the retail industry and worked for Walmart until she retired.  In October of 1990 Betty married the love of her life George Hobson, until his passing in 2001.

   Betty is survived by her son Dennis Baldwin of Mocksville, a granddaughter Hannah Baldwin, and her best friend Kathy Shelton.

   There are no services scheduled at this time.
