Barney Dale Foster

Barney Dale Foster, 70, of Salisbury, NC entered his heavenly home on October 26, 2020 at The Meadows of Rockwell Retirement Center in Rockwell, NC.

Barney was born on October 17, 1950 in Davie County, NC.  He was the son of the late Barney O’Dell Foster and Jennie (Johnson) Foster.  In addition to his parents Barney is preceded in death by his son Barney Dale Foster, Jr.

In life Barney graduated from Davie High School.  Later, Barney went on to earn an Associate’s degree at Forsyth Technical College.  Barney also served in the United States Marine Corps.  By trade Barney was a very talented welder for many years.  He worked and retired from Lineback Tractor Equipment of East Bend.  A few of Barney’s favorite things was reading and feeding the birds.  He was a member of the D.A.V. and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors of Barney include daughters Jennifer Coble (Tommy), Jessica Lane, and four grandchildren Carlee, Ethan, Arianna, and Max.

Barney will be laid in his final resting place at Fork Baptist Church.
