Barbara Dale (Cable) Allen

   Barbara Dale (Cable) Allen, 58, of Mocksville, NC, entered her heavenly home on January 8, 2022, from Novant Rowan Medical in Salisbury.

   Barbara was born on July 25, 1963, in Rowan Co.  She was the daughter of the late Samuel Turner Cable and Peggy Jean (Mauldin) Cable.  In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Cable.

   In life, Barbara graduated from Davie County schools.  She later began a career with Freight Liner pre-painting chassis.  She worked in auto-manufacturing for 24 years.  Barbara was a God-fearing woman and was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.  She was married in 1987 in Davie County to Tony Edgar Allen.  In her free time, she enjoyed reading books, going to the beach with family, cooking, and her granddog, Mila.

   Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Tony Allen of Mocksville, one son, Christopher Allen (Makayla) of Mocksville, a brother, Gene Cable (Carol) of Salisbury, a sister, Debbie Rabon (Arthur) of Mocksville, and one granddog, Mila, who will all miss her greatly!

   A visitation for Barbara will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.  On Saturday, January 15, 2022, a graveside service will take place at 1:00 pm located at the Cable Family Cemetery.  Pastor Joey Spry and Pastor Johnny Stirewalt will officiate the service.
