Alfred Lee McMahan, 67, of Mocksville, NC, died October 10, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.
Alfred was born December 4, 1952 in Davie County, NC, the son of the late Mandy Louise Mock. He was also preceded in death by a Grandmother Mammie McMahan and a brother Eugene Mock Sr.
In life Alfred graduated from Davie High School. In 1998 he married Quintenna White. Alfred was a devoted member of Smith Grove A.M.E Zion Church where he served as Trustee, Steward, Usher, and Church School Superintendent; he was also active in the Men’s ministry. Alfred worked for the Davie County School System. His hobbies included welding, auto mechanics, and drag racing.
Survivors include his wife Minister Quintenna C. (White) McMahan of Mocksville, NC, sons Justin, and Jeremy Cody of Mocksville, NC, God daughter Shatoddra Curry of California, sister Betty McMahan of Winston Salem, NC, grandson Justin Cody Jr., nieces Denise and Terri, nephews Wayne, Will, and Rodney.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday October 20, 2020 from 4:00- 6:00PM at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville. Graveside Funeral Service with burial will be held Wednesday October 21, 2020 at Smith Grove A.M.E Zion Church Cemetery. Rev. Sharon McKinney will officiate, and Elder Calvin Miller will present the Eulogy.
