Ada "Maxine" Boger

Ada “Maxine” (Smith) Boger, 87, of Advance, NC, entered into her heavenly home on April 13, 2020 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Forsyth County.

Maxine was born December 23, 1932, in Davie County, NC, daughter of the late Otis Helsebeck Smith and Lola (Howard) Smith in Davie County, NC. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband Gilbert Lee Boger and several siblings.

Maxine graduated from Mocksville High School and was a real estate agent for Boger Real Estate. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church where she played the organ. She enjoyed politics, and loved music.

Survivors include sons Ronnie Lee Boger (Robbin) of Advance, NC, Warren Boger of Statesville, NC,daughter Cindy Mitchell (Tucker) of Florence, SC, sisters Jean West (Bill) of Advance, NC, Elsie Black of Lewisville, NC, grandchildren Daniel Mitchell (Kerry), Stephanie Goodale (Scott), Adam Boger (Amber), Kevin Boger (Rachel), Courtney Boger, Katelyn Glover (Daniel), eight great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held for Maxine at 11:00 AM Thursday April 16, 2020 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pastor Charles Barker will officiate.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, or Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
