Bobby Gray Myers, 63, departed his earthly home in Mocksville on Sunday, February 3, 2019. Bobby’s life began on November 4, 1955, as the son of Gladys Luella Myers, who survives, and the late Henry Junior Myers.

He had worked in the automotive industry as a mechanic for several years and for the last ten years he was a mechanic with Southern Implement Company. He was a member of Hope Baptist Tabernacle.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Sarah Jean Edwards Myers; one son, Douglas Ray Myers and wife, Misti, of Mocksville; two grandchildren, Sky and Dixie Myers; two brothers, Charles Myers of Statesville and Herman Myers of Mocksville; and one sister, Kathy Myers of Mocksville. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Douglas Myers, and one sister, Freida Robbins.

Services will be private for the family.

Bobby was one of an kind and I was honored to have known him as long as I did. Angels in Heaven are rejoicing to welcome him home. May each of his loved family members be kept in prayers. Fly High Sorrow in Heaven. Gone but Never Forgotten.

I will always remember him calling me his little rabbit and when that started, he was very special to me a lot more than just "brother in law" he was my friend from childhood up. Till I see him again I will forever miss him. Prayers for all the family
