Stuart Gartha Orren

Stuart Gartha Orren, 50, of Mocksville passed away on June 12, 2019 at his home.

Stuart was born July 1, 1969 in Roanoke County, Virginia, a son to David Orren and the late Barbara Hudson. Stuart attended and graduated from Davie High School with the class of 1986. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1994 – 1998 where he achieved the rank of AE3. After his military service, Stuart worked as a cook at Miller’s Restaurant for 22 years. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara.

Stuart is survived by his father David Orren and his brother Anthony W. Orren, both of Mocksville.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18 at the Davie Funeral Service Chapel in Mocksville from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow immediately at 2:00 PM, also at the Davie Chapel, with Pastor Darrell Cox officiating. Interment will be at the Salisbury National Veterans Cemetery.
