Ruth Hicks Obituary
Ruth Dillon Hicks, 75, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center Monday, January 21, 2019. A native of Kernersville, she was born October 15, 1943, the daughter of the late Roland Dillon and Annie Taylor Dillon. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy and Max Dillon.
She was a graduate of Kernersville High School. She retired from AT&T/Western Electric in 1986 and then worked part-time at Bermuda Commons Nursing & Rehab Center for another 12 years. She was a member of Gospel Way Church.
Surviving are two sons, Jeff R. Hicks and Jason M. Hicks (Maria) of Mocksville; one brother, Ray Dillon (Melissa) of King; one sister, Bonnie Longworth (Donnie) of Advance; and three grandchildren: Christina, Jacob and Madison Hicks.
The family will have private services.
