Ronald Wade Meadows

Ronald Wade Meadows, 67, of Advance, passed away on September 3, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

Ronald was born July 23, 1952 in Raleigh County, West Virginia, a son to the late Joseph Embery and Ora Pearl Farley-Meadows-Brammer. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School in WV and was a retired cabinet maker. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army. In life, he loved spending time with his family. He married Teresa Smith-Meadows. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and five sisters, Pauline Meadows, Ethel Pizak, Jewel Alferink, Shirley Hale and Hazel Robinson, two brothers, Dayton Meadows and twin brother Donald Meadows.

He is survived by his loving family, including his wife Teresa, his son Joseph Wade Meadows of North Carolina, son Kevin Dwain Meadows of Davie County, two daughters, Rhonda Christine Hinkle (Steven) of West Virginia and Candy Sue Hedrick (Daniel) of Davie County and step-daughter Abby Michelle Ferguson of Davie County, three brothers, Audrey Meadows of Florida, James Darrell Meadows (Susan) of Davie County and Cody Ray Meadows of Kansas, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 7 at 1:00 PM at the Davie Funeral Service Chapel in Mocksville with Reverend Tim Sink officiating. Military honors will be presented by the Advance VFW.
