Ricky Lee Lineberry

Ricky Lee Lineberry, 60, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Born August 19, 1958, he was the son of the late Bobby and Myrtle Carpenter Lineberry. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Randy Lineberry.

Rick attended Davie County High School. He worked in the food service industry which included 15 years of service with Crestwood Farms. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dogs. He was of the Baptist faith.

His memory will be cherished by his wife, Tammy (Strain) Lineberry; his step-daughter, Brandi Deese of Mocksville; a special granddaughter, Emma Deese, one sister, Cindy Church of Winston-Salem; two brothers-in-law, Jimmy Strain (Colleen) of Mocksville and Dennis Strain of Tennessee; and close friends, Ken Head and Dean O’Neal of Mocksville.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11:30 AM Saturday, December 8, at Davie Funeral Chapel in Mocksville officiated by Pastor Chris Williams. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 10:30 until 11:30. Interment will follow in Legion Memorial Park in Cooleemee where he will be laid to rest beside his brother, Randy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be sent to Davie Funeral Service to help offset final expenses of the family.
